When Napoleon becomes the leader of the farm, along with Snowball and Squealer, he chooses to follow in Old Major’s footsteps and carry on his idea of staging a rebellion. This goes along well with the other animals as they had already agreed to the idea beforehand when Old Major had first suggested it. Not to long after the discussion, the animals carried through with their plan, and succeeded, they ran Mr. Jones and his men off of his farm and destroyed anything that reminded them of him. Once the animals had completed the first stage of the plan, the pigs started making adjustments to the farm, the first one being, the seven commandments.
