It was dark, as dark as space without any stars. The floor was polluted with dead leaves, fallen branches and loose dirt. Looking forward was like you were blind and had lost your sense of sight. Above stood the towering trees. It felt as though they were observing your every move. Watching and waiting. A ring of light shone down through the great trees to form a circle of brightness.
Damon was on his own, looking around at his surroundings was no use, he could only use his other senses to help him find his way. The smell that Damon could feel flowing through his nose was misty, thick, it smelt like a swamp. Damon starts walking forward, feeling his way, rubbing his hands along the mossy trees. They felt spongy and moist. Noises were coming from all directions. The birds in the trees. The crunches of branches. All Damon wanted was to get out of this horror show.
To his luck, he ended up finding some light, but this light was coming out of the little openings in the trees. Damon went to go investigate. Slowly walking over. Trying to get a peek of whatever was inside. He looks into the hole. It was the most amazing thing he had ever seen. It was like all of his dreams had come true. Shocked, he tried to fit his oversized body into the tiny hole in the tree. Somehow, the hole widens to fit his body size. Damon was heavily confused, but he didn’t mind, he could now experience life inside the tree. Once inside, he looks all around him, up, down, left, right. Behind him though was the hole, shrinking back to it’s original size. Damon runs to break through back into the outside world, but he was to late. He was trapped.
